Willy Williams and Cal Johnson were with Calvin the day he was shot and killed during a sweep of the Michelin Rubber Plantation. Other platoon members were wounded in an attempt to recover his body. Calvin was a tall young man that always put his pant legs into the tops of his socks to keep the leeches out. The day before Calvin was killed Lt. George Parounagian was killed in the same area. Rest Easy Bro. You will never be forgotten.
